What is HIFU?
It is a safe non-surgical facelift that tones and lifts your skin using ultrasound energy which stimulates collagen growth.

Is it painful?
The procedure might be slightly uncomfortable, but not enough to have to use an anesthetic.

How is it carried out?
The ultrasound sends tiny pulses of energy deep into the layers of your skin which stimulates the production of collagen. Collagen gives your skin its elasticity and over time your face will lift and firm.

Do I need to stay indoors or have time off work after the procedure?
No. Your face might look flushed and some people may get slight swelling with skin sensitivity, but within a few hours, this will have disappeared.
How do I take care of my face after treatment?
Keep out of the sun for a couple of days and apply a gel moisturiser to your skin throughout the day and the evening. Your skin will feel completely normal after 2 or 3 days.

Are the results immediate?
Your skin will feel fresher after the procedure, but collagen takes time to produce, so your skin will improve over time and you’ll really start to notice the results after a few months.

Will I need more than one procedure?
Usually, one procedure is enough unless your skin has a very low level of elasticity and then your consultant may recommend further sessions.

How long do the results last?
Most results last more than a year, but it does depend on your age and how well you look after your skin.
